Yes, so the interior has very little black. Like your boat the seats have a darker accent, but the exterior is black. Still rethinking a black boat.

My thought process was with a black exterior - generally the water should keep it cooler? The interior would be the same anyway you cut it, but we are doing a bimini cover to try and help when over heated a little

I was looking, it seems like they sell some ladders you just hang over the side for people to climb in/out of the boat with too - not terribly expensive.
Not worth the $500 then, if it's just the accent color, not much of that will be exposed, and yeah, the lake water will keep it cool to the touch. I've spent the day on a Black on white Moomba, and it's not a problem where heat is concerned.

My advice is to not cheap out on the ladder, the little flimsy ones are downright dangerous, and if nothing else, super uncomfortable on bare feet. Wider is better, and preferably something that afixes itself in the down position. My preference is having a swim platform out back, but that's not an option with an outboard, and would look funny on a little boat like that.

This is a great starter boat that will be a relatively inexpensive way to figure out what really suits your families needs. As the kids grow up they will likely get into more watersports, and by then you'll be more comfortable upgrading to something used, so that you aren't spending 60-80k on a new wakeboard boat with ballasts, board racks, etc.

If you get a black hull.... 50/50 water/vinegar mix in a spray bottle will be your best friend. Works great for water spots on all colors though

Just to be sure I'm not assuming the wrong thing, this is what the interior looked like - which was similar (color wise) to most...

I'd think you would be fine. That top hull rail is gonna be hot though.

Just a FYI. The dark carpet is a non issue. Mine has dark carpet as well.

I bet that thing will move around, when you have it full of ballast does it suck the fuel like crazy?
