    I luuuuuv that cobra.

Seriously though, I'm thinkin about a two stage NX kit for my car. It's built to handle a lot more nitrous than I'm throwing at it right now. I've had my current NX gemini kit for about 8 years now and I have no complaints. I could go up another 125-150 on my current kit, but that might be a little hard on it !!!
Yeah man I love this thing as well, it goes into JamesB for the BS3 as soon as he gets the time. I hope with a few of the small issues ironed out I can run near you with this 76mm combo.

Honestly though a 408+ ci motor, big ass cam, direct port and plate sound fun! I'm not a carb guy though so id still be rocking fuel injection.

I'll also be selling the C6 combo out of the car soon and going 4L80e or AOD

A glide would probably work good with the boost.

I do. I guess its fine to wheel and deal if you don't really ever like the car ALL that much, but one day youll want one of 'em back, but to no avail. Maybe i just have the collector spirit .

Boost > Nitrous for street cars.

Boost is always there when you need it and you don't have to go out of your way to refill it. No worries of running out of it, bottle pressure, temp , etc. Nitrous cars are fun at first, but the novelty quickly wore off for me.

Having owned a nitrous car, I agree. Not such an issue at the track making a single pass, but kinda lame on the street. I doubt I'll ever have another hot rod, but if I do, I'm going turbo.

Thats pretty much all opinion. I've had lots of cars that I loved! They are just cars though, not people, not dogs, nothing like that. Its just metal and plastic, its very replaceable to me.

That doesnt make any sense to me ? I drive my car on the street probably more than anyone. I have 355 and no problem, A glide with turbo and say, some 331's or 23s, sheeeeeeet, you would be fine I think. SHouldnt be any problem on the top end either

For me to go out to a meet is usually around 100 miles around trip, some times more. I go to meets 2-4 times a week at least.

Right now at 70-75mph with 3.27's my car is holding about 3000rpms. That annoys me. With a 4L80 or an AOD I would be right at 2100-2200rpms at 75mph.

A glide with a gear vendors would be the shit. But the lock up converter part of a 4L80 attracts me. Still up in the air on the whole trans situation

At 3200 my car is rollin at about 73 mph with the 355s. I drive to kdal, denton, crandall. My next tranny will probably be a glide with a brake.

I'd like to pull the motor and tranny out of this V and put it in the fox, That shit would be fuuuuun.

I agree that would own. yeah I don't like rolling around at 3000+ rpms plus I like to cruise at around 80mph on highways like 121, tollway, stuff like that. Overdrive just sounds nice, maybe I'm being a madonna lol

I have rolled all the way to the Dale before at 3800 plus rpm. If I had your budget, I would be they same way I have to admit, If I could cruise at 80-85 I'd like it a lot more too.

Just drop the coin for a glide and a bender. You know you want too !!!!

I don't think you are. It makes practical sense to keep the RPM's down while at cruising speed. Mileage and heat are big conerns, especially the heat here in Texas with our 6 month long summers we seem to have now.

A good glide/gear vendors cost just as much as an 80e so thats a tough choice. People say now that lentech has it so the AOD's live but I ilke fact with an 80e you can go into OD at full throttle, which is cool to me.

Exactly man. I wanna be able to cruise the car during summer without having to worry about trans temps. 80e with a lock up converter on the hwy would be nice!

Hey will, why dont you just pull the turbo stuff off, pull the motor out of the cobra, go through it and up the compression to around 11.5:1, add a set of larger long tube headers, add a build 4r70w, then do a fogger kit to it? Your intake is already set to accept a fogger, a simple .125 over bore with specific pistons will net you 345 ci with a little over 11:1 and be a nasty all motor car. With a custom gring cam it should make 400rwhp all motor and take any amount of nitrous you want the throw at it.... That is what i would do in your case being you like nitrous so much.. Would not cost too much and be very effective...
