Best run with the stock intake

And just for the record, with the stock intake she made 436 at the wheels. No dyno numbers with the Boss intake installed, but it obviously slowed my car down so I'd expect the power output to be down, at least under 7500.
i couldn't help but notice that as your ET went down, so did your 60 ft time (as one could expect)

were you running the same set up, namely tires, in all those runs?

Took it to a few modded 03-04 Cobras as well.

I ran STROKD in his FRC that trapped 115mph, I put half a car on him twice and I had a 200lb passenger to boot.

You can add my turd to that list as well.

Same setup exactly, as pictured in my sig. ET radial 275/50's on the back and the stock 19's on the front.

So you had the same tune as a stock intake and you were disappointed it ran like a dog up top?

I have multiple tune files to choose from for this car, covering several different configurations. I loaded the Boss intake tune while it was installed and reloaded the stock intake tune when I took it off. Been doing this for over 30 years guys, definitely not my first rodeo.

So you loaded a canned tune and called it a day... Ok.

I have a canned tune that runs really well, and makes 436 rwhp, and I have several other files to choose from. Make assumptions much? TS will be getting the car in the near future for the next round of work, I guess I'll be "legit" then. Until then, I guess I'll have to be satisfied with low 12's from my crappy tune.

You really shouldn't. I remember talking about yours when you first got it. Damned impressive 1/8 times, especially with those big ass wheels on there!

The few we have done, lost as much as 20 hp all the way to 6800 rpm, and 30 ftlbs and only gained 5-10 ho above 6800 rpm.. personally if I had a new 5.0, I would not run one.

Don't get all butt-hurt because you loaded a wonder-wheel mad scientist tune on your car that was never designed for YOUR car and whine because it was slow.
