Consulting and Process Implementation for auto dealerships, specifically the F&I Department. It's not bad, keeps me busy, and I travel every week as I cover the country. I was in sales for this company, then saw a gaping hole in post install follow up and support, so I created a position, took the position (like a dumbass) and now I'm looking for something different. Not because I don't enjoy it, but I'm not paid nearly enough for what I do, especially since I'm the only one doing it... I leave, they are screwed. Waiting to hear back on my absurd raise request currently.

Mechanical engineer. I started out at Raytheon then left there after about 5 years, some of that was co-oping in college. Worked at halliburton for 2 years and then moved to a company in austin.
I love mechanical design and analysis, and hope to some day start my own company. Either as a consultant or inventor. Consultants in O&G make serious money, but I would also love to just run the show and produce products.

I'm just curious what everyone does and how difficult it is to get into doing whatever you're doing.
