Android hasn't killed the iPhone and won't kill the iPhone. I don't want it to, either. I hope it forces Apple to (try to) keep one-upping the Android phones, and the Android phones to (try to) keep one-upping the iPhone.

One thing the iPhone can do that Android can't (or won't) is toggle 3G.

Funny how craple folks have to justify there phone. Any one want to buy mine? I cant wait to get rid of its buggy slow call dropping ass, and go back to a droid again. Why should you have to force apple in to any thing, I shouldn't have to jailbreak a phone I paid for and play crapples games to make it halfway useful.

I still don know why everyone is so hyped for the iPhone on VZ. You can't surf the web, run GPS among other things while on the phone. To me many VZ are not going to be happy with it since it's a one Application running phone.

If I was on VZ I would not buy it.

I just don't see that as a huge selling point for ATT, I have yet to be in a situation where I think "Damn I wish I could talk and use the internet at the same time"

LOL, the iPhone haters are just as bad as the iPhone nuthuggers. I still can't stand Apple but the iPhone is a great phone (maybe the best, maybe not; could be better, but it could be much worse, too).

And it's capitalism. It's not really forcing them to do anything, but if they want to stay alive, they have to adapt.

We have been testing this phone with great success for quite a while on our network and expanded our 3G greatly to not only support our Google phones on the network, but the Iphone. The IPhone issues are due to poor network planning and engineering on AT&T's part. So comparing AT&T's network to Verizon's for supporting this phone I believe Verizon will offer a better network and overall service for this phone.

All I see on a search of this is an antenna issue with the handset. I am not a huge fan of the IPhone myself, but know there are many subscribers who will come to or back to Verizon for this offering. I know a great deal about Verizon's network and have good insight on AT&T's and know that the Verizon network is better suited and capable of handling the speeds and bandwidth necessary to support the 3G features of the IPhone nationwide. If there are handset defects I feel Verizon will look into having many of the issues addressed before the handsets are sold to the public.

I am not here to argue for the IPhone as the greatest phone ever. I prefer the Droid I have, but I do know that many users will come to Verizon for their beloved IPhone being on a superior network and that will make my bottom line look a lot better.
