What im looking for is a small Camara that I can hide somewhere with a motion type sensor that is simular to a Trail Camara & take a picture of what ever set the motion sensor off & store that picture on the camara itself

Excellent customer service here and they have always responded within <30 seconds of an alarm going off here. I guess we do get what we pay for, but what do I know about it since I'm only a customer and all, LOL.

Yeah, would take a bit of infrastructure for them to work. They can email alerts and PT as well. Bit more useful than a game cam (sound too) and generally cheaper.

Yes they do install window sensors.

I have had Smith Thompson for 4 years. Pay for 11 months get the 12th one free. I have had 0 issues with them. They don't screw you over with an ever green contract and ridiculous cancellation terms. Not to mention they are a local company at half the price of most others. I have my system hooked up throught a cell phone and it has been flawless, the equipment can be a little pricey initially. But a break in will cost you much more. You do have a permit fee in some cities that if not current will result in the police not coming out. Smith Thompson will however call you and let you know your system is going off.

What is the difference between me calling 911 about a possible break in and a company calling on my behalf? What I am getting at is, what is the point of alarm permits for city's besides revenue generation?

If I do monitored and tell them to ONLY call me, and I then turn and call the cops in my city...why have a permit? They won't refuse to respond if the homeowner calls...

There was a case on tv the other day where a business owner's place was being burglarized and the owner was at home watching via net. He called the cops and they would not respond.

Are you getting wireless sensors? We had a builder-installed wired system that Smith Thompson used, with the addition of a wireless motion sensor and an extra keypad, when we switched to them.

yeah im doing wireless because we live in an older house and that's way too much work. He's doing 3 door wireless and a glass break by the french doors since thats where the shit heads came in. also key fob for the wifey since she has the baby alot of times and its easier to disarm that way.
