Wow you missed that one by miles.

The modular motors are huge, dee dee dee.

    Sarcasm much?

I was making a joke on displacement not physical size. Holy cow.

When are people going to learn sarcasm does not translate on the board without actually notifying one is making a sarcastic remark?

How the fuck do you qualify this statement?

Did ford come out with the small block first? Nope, they were still running their shitty flatheads when chevy busted their ass with an OHV v-8.

Put a stock for stock (real stock, not DFWM stock) 2000 z28 up against a Mustang of the same vintage. Who's going to win?

Yeah, Ford created the assembly line, congrats to ole Henry.

Wasn't Ford one of the one's bitching when Chrysler was spankin that ass in Nascar back in the 60's and 70's. They sure are at the fore front of tech aren't they.

They use the pushrod engines because thats the rules.

Sarcasm can translate over the board. IF the board knows that the person conveying it has the knowledge to back it up. With Mike, this is not the case.

No they didn't. Assembly lines have been in use since way before the industrial revolution. Henry Ford just took an idea from Ransom Olds and improved on it. He was a brilliant man and took a bunch of ideas from other people and molded them together.

Eco boost is a modern example.

                          The pony car is another.

I had a long response typed up, but figured it wouldn't do any good. LOL !

I like SBC engines, and use them in pretty much every car/truck I build. They're cheap to build ! My '49 Ford coupe has a small block Chevy and 700R4 mounted in it right now. I think that one is next on the list to get built after I finish this '66 Chevy pickup.
