I've got two 23's, and two 9mm conversion barrels and they both run excellent. You will need 9mm mags though. In fact, I haven't shot .40 out of either for quite a while.

I've also got a .357sig barrel and a .22 conversion kit, so that gives me one gun (a 23) that can fire 4 calibers.

I'm sure m&p has something similar to this if you buy a .40, so this info is only if you were gonna sell the glock because you couldn't shoot 9mm.

Or sell the 23 to me for cheap. I'd like one in another color than black.
This! I've been wanting to do the same thing with a 23.

Sure that's cool for range toys, but if I were a racecar driver I wouldn't practice with a different car then I raced. I like to practice how I play and I feel practicing with two different platforms would be detrimental- especially with the different grip angle between the two. That doesn't mean I can't adapt and shoot either well, but I feel better served choosing one. Of course...training doesn't mean anything anyway so I guess I shouldn't care

the 1911, Sigs, Walthers, Springfields, S&W, Beretta, HK, etc. all share a similar grip angle making sight alignment similar for all of them. I can shoot fine with a Glock, but thanks to the grip angle with any other gun in my hand in a similar position I'd be shooting at the ground. I know Glock fan boys won't ever admit it, but the Glock grip angle is a colossal fuck up. It is the sole reason I will never own one again. I can literally pick up any pistol besides a Glock point and shoot in the dark and nail a target center of mass at close range without looking at the sights, except for a Glock....

The Glock may be the most ingenious handgun ever made for a lot of reasons, but the grip angle is pure shit. I've read the book and about his experiments with two sticks in his basement. Well drunken European Army execs shouldn't be allowed to select pistol specifications in some guys basement with not one firearm present. It's a an amazing story how a machinist broke into the firearms industry. He nearly got it all right.... all except for one major detail.

Most ingenious handgun handgun design? Its uses John Browning's 100+ year old short recoil tilting-barrel operation, a polymer frame pioneered by HK, and a striker. Nothing about the gun is or was ground breaking.

Certainly has a lot of features for a sub $600 gun. Patrick and I shot the hell out of the demo/t&e unit HK sent me and we liked it.
