You are correct, I've never heard of them. Are they cut or button rifled? I prefer cut but both seem to be well received. I wouldn't worry too much as long as the gunsmith is comfortable installing it, I try and use whatever they recommend or use themselves. My last rifle built the gunsmith refused to use Shilen which I wasn't using any way and he later informed me that he only installs Krieger , Pac-Nor or Hart.

It is a button rifled barrel. Don't know if you have ever heard of Greg Young from Bugholes.com. He came highly recommended from my previously mentioned buddy. So I take his opinion pretty highly. He recommended it. I was going to have him build the barreled action, but he had a 3-4 month wait time. The guy in TX who I've seen quality stuff from, can do it in 2-3 weeks after he receives the barrel (today). So, I'm pretty stoked about getting it. The guy in TX said that he only sells one type of rifle because he'd rather be a really good customer to one manufacturer than a marginal one to a lot of them. But he also said, I'll put on whatever barrel that you want me to. It's going in his trued action though.

Here is a pic of a target shot by the last gun that Greg built with a Mullerworks barrel. The left hand group were the first 3 shots out of the gun with just a generic 260 load that he uses.

Yeah, when I talked to him he said that he would probably just do repeat customers as far as gunsmithing and pretty much be a full time parts place in about 5 years.

I think that it's a HE and not a THEY or THEM. I'm pretty sure that he's a one man show. But yes, he does build a hell of a rifle. If it wasn't for the 3-4 month wait time, and a competition in January I'd have defiantly had him build my barreled action.

Yeah, I want to say that he said that he had more than 50 McMillan stocks sitting on his shelves, lol. That in itself is freakin' absurd.

That's a good bit of money tied up in inventory. He has some good stuff he usually keeps in stock and is supposed to be one of the highest stockers for Stiller and Obermeyer.
