Needless to say I would have a NF mil scope with base instead of my Vortex if I could have found one even close to that. I have a 20moa canted 50mm Larue base, and if I'm not mistaken it was just about $300.

Took a few years of work, but yes it shoots 1/4" MOA at 200 yards for reference.

Russel at Scout Supply Company out of La Grange TX is doing the build on the barreled action. Assembly is a pretty big joke with the AICS, so I won't even take credit for that, lol. But I'm pretty excited about that. The barrel is getting to him today. I took a huge leap of faith with the barrel and I hope it doesn't bite me in the ass. I don't think it will, and if it does, the guy said that he'd replace it with whatever barrel that I wanted. Basically a guy is just getting out on his own (worked for a barrel maker) from what I understand and just needs to build his reputation. I've seen groups from his barrel that group 0's at 100, so I have faith!

I'd bet money that you haven't heard of it. They just started making barrels this year. Mullerworks is the company. Made by Dan Muller.

You are correct, I've never heard of them. Are they cut or button rifled? I prefer cut but both seem to be well received. I wouldn't worry too much as long as the gunsmith is comfortable installing it, I try and use whatever they recommend or use themselves. My last rifle built the gunsmith refused to use Shilen which I wasn't using any way and he later informed me that he only installs Krieger , Pac-Nor or Hart.
