I know this aint setting the world on fire but this is what my 2011 f150 extended cab 5.0 with 3: 55 gears ran with a boss intake, tune, exhaust, and cold air kit a few weeks ago. I haven't ran an ecoboost truck yet but I am waiting patiently!

Here is a video of my truck before the boss intake on a 100 shot at Redline. DA was 2940' on this pass.
Best pass that day was an 8.1323 @ 86.39 MPH with a 1.8640 60'.

I read a lot of mixed reviews on using the boss intake on a truck before I installed it. Before the boss intake my best pass was a 9.0193 @ 78.42 MPH with a 2.0958 60's. The boss intake and exhaust knocked 4/10ths off that and gained me 4 MPH. All my N/A times were done on the factory Michelins but when I spray I use my NTO5Rs.

I haven't been back to the track on spray since the boss but I figure with my dual stage kit (100 + 100) Low 7's should be possible!

just saying, no dissing your truck, but i would bet the price of all your mods is about equal to the ecoboost option, prolly more if bought and installed at a shop. someone needs to put a tuner on there eco truck and run you!

In the 1/8th. I'm impressed.

The torque curve of the ecoboost is awesome. It'll get moving from a dig faster, but the 5.0 comes alive on the big end. Take it to the highway and that 5.0 will run off and leave the ecoboost.
