    At the shop.

Just tinkering with go fast ideas. And I like this idea a lot better.

Mach 1 motors with cobra bottom end is hood to 800hp. Right?

    That's plenty for 3000lbs. I'd be happy with 320 n/a until I could put a eaton on.

Odds and ends will be the tough part. And the expensive part.

I'm going to build the chassis strong and sport the stock 302. And round up swap parts. And bam we have a project.

Should I say f 4.6 and do a 5.0 Stroker so I can keep stock badges?

Pony rims, stock hood. = damn that notch is fast.

Not big on modular knowledge. So please enlighten me.

Would 400 more cc from Stroker kit be worth the costs? I don't see many of them.

I think a modular swap in a fox would be pretty sweet. I would go with a 4.6l 4v and throw a blower on it.

Just to keep the badges, it would be TOTALLY worth it!

Really, though. Is this something you'd really do?

That's the plan as of now.

Mach swap, Manley rods and cobra pistons. N/a until I can get a eaton

Why the forged gear if all you're going to put on it is a stock eaton? 04mongoose has a mean ass Mach with a stock Eaton swap. Save the coin.

No, it was a joke actually.

I really want a 4v under my hood yes. More then a built pushrod that will still get drug and get worse fuel mileage then a 4v.

Staying pushrod would be the slowest decision I could make. It's super fun to 5000rpm. Whoopdeedoo.

There are tons of well-documented swaps with pics on the net. I like the Fairmont that was for sale @ 5.0 Resto shop in Waco.

480rwhp is the most he can go on stock rods.

I want 500-550ish with a OEM blower. If I want a kb or whiling later on I could damn near double my power and still be safe.

You're limiting yourself with the pushrod options if you think that.

Pushrod small block fords are slow unless you spend a shit ton of money. Compared to a mod swap

Stock 302 blocks are good for 500-550hp.

Aluminum mod blocks are good for like 700-800 and can be had for cheaper then a boss 302 block.

                            Instant savings.

How much money would I have to spend to get 300 to the wheels n/a on a 302?

Heads/cam/intake/exhaust and a tune. - 2500-4000 depending on what you pick. And still only good for 5500-6000rpm.

Mod swap has more potential and can be had for the same price.

                                Why would I stay pushrod?
