I think if it's bad you will see big fuel pressure spikes when you rev it, so if you can datalog the fuel pressure you might be able to tell if that's the problem.
I've been doing some data logging I just need to put them in excel and check them out. I ordered a new FRPS and it will get it tomorrow morning, hopefully it's what I needed!

Well that was a fun $100 wasted! Changed the FRPS and nothing, still idles horrible and misfires...I haven't any ideas what to do. I'm by far just an amateur working on cars.

I'll have it towed Monday to a ford shop, already $400 into trying to fix this and I can't keep that up.

I checked the coils when they were warm as well and all tested fine. That was just using my volt meter. I do have an hei tester coming I will check them with.

Alright, just removed my spark plugs again...here's my findings:

The plugs on cylinders #5-8 are dirtier then the opposite cylinders. Also, a couple of the plugs insulators are pretty white compared to the others? There was oil on them as well?

One of the plug insulators was covering the electrode? Wtf? I had to push it back down.

Pic of a plug #8. Mind you these were just installed, car has only been started and idled not yet driven.

I have an 07 with Novi 2200 on it, I was having the same conditions with mine, plugs were the same, running rough and I had popping through the intake. Kept falling on its face, kept throwing bank 1&2 system lean, too rich, fuel delivery error code. And a horrible un burned gas smell. I cleaned the mass air and filter and it cleared up. I don't know if it was a fluke thing, but it's running great now. I dunno with yours, you may try and see what happens.

The codes I'm getting are ABS Codes U1900 & U2011. Also, the plugs I just removed today had oil on them so I believe there's more to all this crap.

If you mean that the porcelain insulator had fallen down and was covering the center electrode and touching the ground strap, then that spark plug is damaged and needs to be replaced.

That will cause a misfire for sure, it can be intermittent.

The electrode wasn't covered completely just not as much was exposed, and it never touched the ground strap.

Let me rephrase, if the porcelain moves any at all, the spark plug is damaged. You should not be able to move the porcelain of the inner electrode in any way. I've seen spark plugs damaged in both way like that.

I have seen more times then I care to, this problem with spark plugs in 3v mustang. The porcelain breaks, falls down and covers the electrode and causes problems.

                            Actually, yes.

Just today I changed the oil ( which smelled like fuel ) and installed new spark plugs, for the previous ones were the wrong model.

Now the car is like it was before I started all this there's still the rough idle I noticed from the beginning. I still need to take it for a drive and datalog to check for misfires, etc. Also, got my hei tester yesterday so I'm going to check the coils today as well.

                            What I've done so far:
                            New Fuel Filter
                            New spark Plugs
                            New FRPS
                            Oil Change

Just to throw this out there. Idle air control valve maybe? Because I was having the same exact issues with my 03Gt, took off my IACV cleaned it up with carburetor cleaner reinstalled it with a new gasket car ran like new again.

I'm not trying to act like I know a lot about cars. I just wanna help anyway I can, keep us updated.
