      are you racing in formula one? piston speed would never come into the consideration for a street engine build for me. cubic inches trump any worry about "piston speed" when you are going with a 4.125 after market bore. if you are not class racing any thoughts of de stroking is crazy....

        I was more so asking about strength. Lower speeds are easier on the pistons.

        I would build a short stroke 347 before I would a long stroke 347.

        320rwhp. 7.67 @ 90mph 1.7 60'
