take it to the firestation, they can use it for training
Don't worry about what you can't change.
Do the best you can with what you have.
Be honest, even if it hurts.

Not 15 to life, but if you have gas in an unapproved non "evaporation free" container, you can get a ticket.

I dunno what the ticket would cost, and I'm not willing to find out.

It's $350 if you get caught texting or on your phone without hands-free while driving, which I can't say that I'm against.

It won't evaporate in a week??
I've used old gas in my truck without a problem. As long as it doesn't smell like varnish, I'd just use it.

I wasn't suggesting he get a billboard to point out the fact that he's letting it evaporate. Seems like it could be done discretely.

Nope, moving up to Sacramento to be closer to my client base. It should be interesting to see the political split between north and south.

Turned out to be about 6 gallons, and I spilled half a gallon emptying the bike's tank. My garage smelled real good for a while.

I added Stabil, filtered it through two coffee filters, and filled up my truck with 91. The filters were fairly clean, but there was some small trash in there, that the fuel fiilter would catch eventually.

If the truck seizes I blame DFWMustangs.

Aaron - i drained some really old, foul gas out of my daughters t/a - it was so old it was a dark yellow color, but it did still smell like gas. I had no idea if it was unleaded or leaded, or what it might have been contaminated with.

I just put a gallon or so into each of my cars when they were almost full, and ran it thru, and then filled up and dumped another gallon in until it was all gone - i had about 9 gallons of that stuff - i had no issues and no problems at all. I did run some gas treatment thru each car afterward just in case.

I appreciate the reassurance Mike, but the "damage" has been done. The gas involved has sat for less than 2 years, over half of which was 93, so I think I'm good.

The only thing that bothers me is that the truck will sit for another year or so, and get driven for 100 miles at a time. so I won't find any issues for a while.

I was tempted to put it in my car, and burn it on the way up to Sacramento, but the warrantee specifies 91, so that wasn't the place to try my luck.

I'd just find some ant hills and pour it on them.
