  • WWYD On this tight budget build?

    Starting of with a F4TE 351 roller block and a C4 trans
    - I would like 400RWHP
    - I would like to run on pump gas
    - I would like to spray the shit out of it when running race fuel

    What heads/cam/carb/and bottom end components would you use?

    I doubt I will stroke this motor however I know I want forged internals.

    I wish in one hand and shit in the other and the shit hand always fills first.

    Trav , you gonna street drive it ? If so a/c and acc's ? When you say forged internals do you mean a crank and rods to or just pistons . On a cheap build for what you are doing I would spend my $ on pistons , cam and heads . The other stock bottom parts are more then strong enough for 400 hp .

        10:1 JE pistons or like

            If stock 302 acc will fit on this motor it will have a/c and power steering. Will my efi dizzy work on that motor?

                You will have to get a 351 efi dist . The 302 alt bracket will bolt up and you can but the $45.00 a/c bracket and use the comp and ps pump . So you are going to stay injected ? Are you gonna mass air convert ?

                    Then you can go MSD or get a 80's model truck dist with a vac advance and put your 302 dist gear on it so it will work with the roller . This is what I did in the vert .

                      So the efi dist I have now in the 302 will not work in the 351???
