  • UPS sucks that bad?

Never had a problem with FedEx, and just received my package from USPS yesterday, but my package shipped UPS from Cali has been sitting for 3 days due to "adverse weather conditions" and hasn't had an update since then. When you call UPS, all they say is that they will continue shipping operations once the weather clears... what weather? Anyone else have packages stuck because these fuckwads cant drive?

Yup, been waiting on FED EX since Monday for one package, Tuesday on another package, and now UPS has had another package since Monday.
Called and got the run around.

We have a TON of packages held up with the so called weather here at work. Have you tried bitching on your local mustang board about it?

Waiting on fed ex here, was supposed to be delivered yesterday. I even saw a fed ex truck drive by my house, come 7pm status changed to today's delivery.

I shipped something at USPS last Monday (1/31). It just left the facility this Monday (2/7).

I thought the post office worked no matter what the weather did? Last week we only got mail at my house on Monday. Even Saturday when the Roads were clear we got nothing.

Had a package shipped UPS from NY and it was delayed up there for one day before it shipped due to weather. Got here before our snow event and it sat for two days in the UPS Mesquite Center before it finally got here.

Just to let you know, a UPS driver that delivers to my girlfriends work said they are 15-18 trucks behind and trying to catch up. Thats what happens when they cancel flights across the country and shit is shut down for 4 days

Has everyone bitching about UPS and FedEx forgot those local news videos last week that seemed to always show FedEx twin trailer rigs stuck in ice on Dallas-area freeways?

They should keep that in mind then lol. I had an ETA of yesterday and as of the day before it just vanished and said "adverse weather".

I just called and was informed by the lady that they have stopped scanning packages and are just moving them as fast as they can, nice...

You mean a nation wide snow/ice storm that canceled hundreds of flights, closed thousands of businesses, and delayed basically the entire nation effected UPS???

                      Shocker...

They're shipping millions of packages around this country and the world. Weather last week has everyone backed up. Could you give it a second?

You've got to expect a back up of services like this during this kind of weather. It may not be that the drivers don't know how to drive, as much as the idiots around them. Would you rather your package be late or your package crushed on the side of an icy highway somewhere?
