Assuming that insurance pays out on it, there are a couple options. Take all the money and let them take the car, or (after the value is determined) you can opt to buy the salvage back. It will usually be around 15 to 20 percent.
It will brand the title as salvage, but if the car still drives, and you wanted to, you could put a door and fender on and drive it while looking for what you want to replace it with.I have a door if you need one.

If the salvage is high, they want that number. Seeing as we will get that for the engine and cores, sure, we'll pay that at auction. Lsx stuff is higher than pushrod ford stuff, but I may be surprised.
