  • O'Reillys Customer Service -Thumbs UP !

Its not too often when you are just blown away with great customer service. I wanted to share my experience here.

    Long story short -

Went to change the brakes on my girls car last night, ( she took my truck to visit her mom , with my wallet and all my money, cards etc..). After i got the car lifted up , charged my compressor, pulled the wheels, , pushed the caliper pins out, I noticed i had the wrong pads....( i got just a lil pissed )

Put everything back on the car to drive to O'reillys to get the right pads ( no money, no id, no wallet, no receipt) , Turns out, they were more expensive, I didnt even NEED to explain that to the guys helping me, they told me not to worry, they will take care of it... IT was only a $5.00 difference but they didnt give me a hard time about it.

Thank you Oreillys Garland and Buckingham Location.

I will write a letter to the company.

Don't. You'll probably just get them in trouble with corporate.

that's not blown away with good customer service worthy. They fucked up, they fixed it, you ended up not having to pay out $5 because of the hassle.

That's what should be done, expecting anything else is the problem.

And driving without a license? Quit breaking the law, asshole.

They'll never take me without giving them a stern talking to and a dirty look. I might even roll my eyes.

Yeah, better not. It would be mildly uncomfortable.

I've never had a good customer service experience with Oreilly's, especially on returns for cash. Bought an alternator for my T-bird at a north dallas store. Got it home and found that my alternator was fine, just the wire broke off. Tried to take the alternator back to the Kaufman store and was told that "They didn't have that much cash on hand".

When I questioned why a retail store didn't have $200 cash on hand, they got shitty with me and told me to take it back to the store that I bought it from. Called the hub store in seagoville and they said they would refund with no issue. When I got up there, they tried the same BS excuse on me. I demanded to see a manager, which was the same guy that I talked to on the phone and he refunded me.

Never had a single problem like that with Autozone, which is why they get most of my business.

That's bullshit. They are supposed to open the safe, you might have to wait a few minutes but they should get you taken care of. I have chewed out several store managers for doing this and reported them. They do it so the return doesn't impact their sales, which in turn impacts their commission. It was a frequent topic at meetings, yet some dipshits still do it regularly. Aggravating for the Manager that ends up having to make it right, and needlessly pisses off customers. It all comes out in the wash, and we're talking about fucking pennies anyway.
