Does anybody else use vacations time during the holidays?

That is 350+ at hourly rate x 1.45 too. I estimate by the time I leave, and it is a goal, to have 500hrs.

I am in the beginning stages of talking to some folks about a pipeline inspection gig. 6 months of work a year and 6 figures on a 1099.

I use to when my company paid for unused vacation. Now it's use it or lose it. I try to take time off during the summer now instead of wasting it sitting at home in the winter.

My vacation started last Friday and goes until January 2nd.

I usually take the week after Thanksgiving off then Xmas week and the week after. But I use vac here and there throughout the year and then I carry over a lot of days that I use before the end of March for example 2014.

It's both EOQ and EOY, I never get to take PTO during Christmas. The best I can do is work from wherever we want to travel to.

If the hospital closed for the holidays, I wouldn't need to use pto.
