I went to the one in Lewisville when I was working on my renthouse, and almost just left when the bitch started doing some crazy speil on the microphone at the drive-through, "WELCOME TO RAISIN CANE'S!!! IT'S A GREAT DAY TO BE A CANE DAY!!! CLUCK CLUCK"

Jersey Mike's in Hurst has done that crap as well. They should just be polite and not F the order up. No "show" is needed with my sammich purchase.

I tried Jersey Mike's and Jimmy John's and wasn't impressed with either one. Again, a bunch of hype. Maybe I just didn't order something very good to me, but I don't have any plans to go back. I give most places two chances, but there usually has to be a draw for something else on the menu that I want to try.

Tried Cane's chicken last night. What a disappointment that was. I am puzzled how they ever got so popular. They had all these T-shirts, all cheery and bragging how good they were, etc. ALL they sell is bland chicken fingers. No legs or thighs or recognizable parts. No different flavors. All the fries are lousy crinkle fries. Only 4 different "meal" choices and they were basically all a combination of the same things in different quantities. I felt like I was in a Futurama episode. The only thing good was some toast and their sauce they act like is the best thing in the world. Two other people were with me and we all agreed, without the sauce, it was bland, tasteless and nothing to bring us back. The real test is when my 6 yo who never passes on chicken fingers would not even finish one of them.

Ever see companies and think "How did they ever sell this to investors? Did the investors even have a clue or try the product?"

Hype and hysteria will sell quicker than quality and consistancy ever could.

Hell no, it's good shit. In small town Texas, it's either that, Dairy Queen, or Subway most of the time. They used to have Dublin Dr.Pepper on tap at a lot of them as well.
