Cane's chicken. whats all the hype?

Ya, they have different sauces. That's what makes them better. That's my complaint with Cane's. Two options, both of which suck. I have no problem with the chicken strips themselves. It's not like they are bad or anything special.

If Cane's had a few different options, like at least bbq sauce, maybe some kind of spicy buffalo sauce, or even just ranch, I'd go there more often. Or maybe not, because the fries suck so bad.

There's not a Cane's close to my house. I don't like getting fast food and letting it get soggy and gross on the drive home if it's more than 10 minutes. I will either eat there or sit in the parking lot and eat it while listening to the radio.

And if I take fast food home, the whole point is that it's quick, complete, and convenient. I'm not gonna pull out my own shit and start adding to it. Are they gonna give me a discount for using my own shit? It's not like it's a ton of trouble, but what's the point when I can get something elsewhere that has everything I need right there in the bag?

I went to the one in Lewisville when I was working on my renthouse, and almost just left when the bitch started doing some crazy speil on the microphone at the drive-through, "WELCOME TO RAISIN CANE'S!!! IT'S A GREAT DAY TO BE A CANE DAY!!! CLUCK CLUCK" or something along those lines. She was way too happy to be working at a fast food drive through. In the end, it tasted like fast food to me. I don't get the hype, but it wasn't bad for what it was.

Had it once... My wife brought it home and after telling me all they have is chicken fingers and fries, I was confused that any place could be in business with only that.

Then I ate half of it and threw the rest away. Was not impressed in the least.

It's good once a month, but I don't eat fast food very often. If I ever went into the fast food business, it's the one I would own. Seems like their business model is super simple and they have a huge following. People would buy sugar covered dog shit if it was marketed the same way.

I got the feeling not that she was genuinely happy, but was forced to go through the same shirade everytime and all stores were the same. If she was truly that happy, I'm happy for her. If the store forces their employee's to do that, I'd prefer a, "Welcome to Raising Cane's, may I help you?". Simple is better. Sounds like maybe it was just this girl and maybe she was just that happy, otherwise others would be mentioning how over the top it is when you go there.
