I think the DLP has the LCD beat on weight. Unless they have changed something in the past year. I can lift a boxed 58" DLP by my self, no problems. A 58" LCD gives me quite the struggle. ANYTHING Panasonic makes is a heavy MFER. I'm pretty sure they pack their boxes with bricks instead of styrofoam.

This. You remember that DLP I had? It was a 42" and probably weighed less than 50 pounds. Just bulky.

I love my samsung DLP... I got one of the last LED models before they were discontinued. No worries with a bulb here

If you're not hanging on the wall, DLP is perfect. It will get a better picture in a bright room than a plasma or a projector. Bulbs wear out after several years, but they are cheap and very easy to replace. I love mine, but it would be sweet to have a 92"!

We have a 56" we bought 5 years ago that still works great (Samsung DLP), but since we've had to replace the bulb, I haven't found one that is as bright as the first OEM one. It seems really dull...Anyone have good experience with ordering bulbs or have any suggestions on whether something else may be wrong with it? I ordered one bulb, it was dim, sent it back and ordered another one from another company and it looks dim, too...

That's strange. I replaced mine and it made the TV good as new. Are you sure it's not a setting on your TV?

I got mine online, and went with one that had mostly great reviews over the cheapest one available. It was still very cheap (I want to say it was around $100).

EW recently replaced his and I think he had good results, too. You might see if he remembers where he got it or what brand it was.

these were for each side of the shower... i have a 140" led/3d/goggles/virtual reality lawnmower man style for the tv in front of the shitter.. I sleep in a 20x20 tv in the bedroom lol

Oh, I guess I wasn't specific enough (thought this would be implied), but we have one on each wall of the shower with the waterproof surround sound with subwoofer in the ceiling. Like I said, thought it was implied...
