Has anyone here bought a new camaro or Mustang in a 6 banger?

I test drove the Camaro with V6 just for the heck of it and I was quite surprised at how well it ran. Anyone have any track times on either here?

Since I'm sure that 3 or more V-6 Mustang/Camaro's are sold for every V-8 model......I'd guess that yes....some folks have bought them.

I drove an 011 Mustang V-6/ 5 speed & I was quite impressed.

Had a lady sales person that said she could not tell a difference. After the V6 test ride , we all hopped in an SS. She could tell the difference when I left.

I test drove the 5.0 a while back. It felt faster than the SS to me. I think I will test drive the Mustang V6 this weekend. Just for the fun of it.

The 11+ 5.0s are deceptively quick. They are so quiet and nice you don't really feel like you're at triple digit speeds. I can't imagine what this car is going to be like in another 5 or 10 years if they keep on improving it.

I was actually thinking of picking up a used one in a couple years for my son's first car. Not sure I want that much power for his first. I sure insurance will make my mind up either way.

??? I am talking about the 6 banger. Aren't they 305 hp? No way would I get him a 5.0 for the first car. But I can see the confusion
