Has anyone here bought a new camaro or Mustang in a 6 banger?

I was looking at the 5.0 and a 2ss last year. I fit better in the camaro but the blind spots were terrible. Changing lanes is a gamble sometimes, just have to punch it and pray nobody is there

I know you dont buy a camaro/mustang because its practical but I didn't like how most of them dont come with spare tires

412hp for a kids first car is just silly.

Even the v6 mustang is too much for a kid. 300+ hp for a first car?? Sounds like a bad idea...

My neighbor has two of the new Camaro's and both of them with some exhaust work done. I can always hear them fire up when he's leaving. Not my personal taste but he really loves those cars which is cool.


As for the new Mustangs, Ford really out did themselves this time. The new Mustangs are amazing and respond to mods really well just like the 03/04 Cobras do. Bolt on a Whipple/KB on this things and they scream!

I can't help but to hope and think they are still built better than the Jap cars. I see a lot of old Camaro and Mustang V6's still on the road now days.

On a side note me and my son were checking out the ZR1 and I made a comment to my son that they should have cleaned the tires. (really filthy sidewalls) The sales person over heard me and told me they can't clean the tires. Any type of cleaner that gets on the rotors causes hot spots. To replace all rotors and pads, it cost $12,000.00.

I still think they could have ran a damp rag to clean off the dust .

Speaking of ZR1s, My buddy just bought a 2010 a couple weeks ago and Saturday some old lady changed lanes into him, damaging the whole passenger side of the car, about a 12in long crack in the door, damaged at least two of the wheels. He was not having a good day. Sickining.

On topic;, I drove an 08 v6 Stang a few years ago and was impressed with the way it ran. It felt as fast as my stock 02 GT.
