My last employer did that to me which put that account negative one mortgage payment. Pay check was direct deposited at 7am. Paid the mortgage around noon. 4pm that day they did a "reversal". Awesome times ensued.
And why did they do a "reversal?"

If you do not supply them with a bank, routing number etc..... they will OPEN an account

at the bank of THEIR choosing for you!!! It is quite clear in the employee handbook.

With so many people working for them, they save millions on printing and processing this

      way.

Most people I talk to have nothing but good things to say about you, but you sure come across as a condescending prick. Do you have an inferiority complex you've attempted to overcome through overachievement? Or were you fondled as a child?

You and slow99 should date. You both have passive aggressiveness down pat.

I use direct deposit. Even split my paycheck so some goes to savings automatically.

The only "issue" I ever had was when I quit an employer once. They gave me a paycheck after I quit. Free money! I knew better than to touch it though, and a week later the money came right back out of that account. I got a weeks worth of interest though, for what that was worth.

Best one I had was once in Phx. I got paid, went by an ATM for some cash, balance was way high due to a double run of payroll. The next night they did a reversal. The best part is I have a statement from the ATM showing an amount that my monthly statement never show. How do they move money in and out without it showing on my monthly statement?

                not crazy at all.

A lot of businesses are going paperless. They are either requiring direct deposit or they are issuing a pay card to the employee.

I know a few others that do it too, specifically cause I see it on their new employee orientation whiteboards. (training room)

I guess I may have over emphasized the obvious simple message I was trying to convey.

For those among us with less that adequate literary skills I will refrain from this writing behavior, in the hope that it will not confuse you.

I mean if cooter "got" it, the others for sure must?

I've had direct deposit since 1993. Fuck getting paid with checks. Fuck going to the bank to make deposits.

My last employer was mandatory direct deposit and your only statement was accessible online only.

Because their policy is to mail an employee their last check instead of having it direct deposited. They direct deposited it and figure out the mistake later that day.

I hate having D.D. now, because I have no real reason to go to the bank now and there were a couple hott azz girls in there.
