      I've been around a while, and I've never seen a home burglary where a large safe was defeated.

        The reason for not seeing one broken into by Police could be for the reason of the person not wanting to report what was in the safe. I saw some crazy shit when I used to move/install them.

          People have a tendency of omitting the questionable stuff that was taken. :-)

          Conversely I'm always amazed when someone reports a car burglary and they start rattling off the stolen property.

          $2,000 set of golf clubs
          $3,000 laptop
          $1,200 cash
          $400 GPS
          $6,000 wedding ring
          Etc........

              From what I've seen at the safe store in Garland, it does not matter what you buy. It's all just a deterrent.

              Edit: Meaning, buy what you can afford - it's better than nothing. Even the really high end safes are defeated.

                  LMAO, that cracks me up too. I work in collision and I just tekl them to contact their homeowners insurance.
