                        There's a vid out there on youtube of a guy using a neodymium magnet on the bottom of the meter box top stop the wheel from spinning.

                          Well I know that... Now... Did some googling after watching this. I knew they could be tampered with in other ways, but the magnet thing is new to me.

                            Does that work with smart meters? Not that I want to try it, just curious as I work for retailer and have not heard of it. Then again, we do only commercial, so don't get too many tampering cases. When we do they are usually using jumpers or it's a "self-reconnect" on an older meter.
