        Works on old meters. Does not work on new smart meters. I work utilities in Austin and we see it all the time still. We don't care. We just leave the magnet. It does nothing to our equipment and customer feels like they are getting some kind of advantage. Everyone is happy.

          You should start telling them that you have been leaving the magnents on there because it causes the smart meters to read higher than normal and see what their reaction is.

            We are a municipally owned utility so they would probably call the city council and i would get "talked" to by a superior. No thanks. We can't do shit with out customers crying to the council. Happens daily.
