In reality the name came about as a joke gone wrong
Years ago our I.T guy at the Law Firm decided since I was a Jeff Gordon fan and it was the first year they put the flames on his car that he would tape a bunch of pictures up in my office and write THE FLAMMER all over them while changing my user ID name in our companies message system to THEFLAMMER instead of the THE FLAMER so it was like his joke back fired and only our office people knew why but the entire Firm nationwide could see the mistake and it just became a point of reference and jokes on him.
some reason I just kept it going

I have so many people tell me they either like them or hate them; I KNOW THAT IT'S MY CAR AND WHAT I LIKE however I have never seen it without and I can't really wrap my fingers around which way to go.
am going for a smooth looking ride to take a trip on Sunday around the lake etc, no racing or lowering
Keep in mind that they will be re-painted to match the car.Originally posted by theflammer View PostDidn't buy the car for me, it was bought before Christmas as a project car for my boys and nephew. That's why I stated early on am not looking for a racing look or anything like that.
Last thing I wanted was to put him in a fast car
Wait, wut? So you're building a smooth, not fast car for your boys to drive to the lake in? And I totally agree, having hood pins, lame ass dual exhaust, and side skirts on a v6 is definitely not going for a "racing look".

The car itself was NOT picked out rather fell into my lap for next to nothing so I thought it would make it more exciting for him then a darn rice burner
My boy's are both over 21 and have their own cars & family; they are just helping us as he has a piece of shit dad that's no where to be found.
again, the last thing I wanted to do was build a car that A. he would kill himself in or B. his mom wouldn't let him drive

Lol, just gotta love this - hood pins were already on hood as stated way back and have the replacement but waiting to decide color and finish the build

Ok, ok, ok. What? Now your kids are full grown adults? I thought this was a "project for my boys and nephew"?? So it's no longer for your boys, and JUST for your nephew now? But, wait, don't you still just want something to cruise to the lake? Confusing posts are confusing.
You're not very good at trolling. At least try to keep a solid storyline going for 3 or 4 days before you start contradicting everything that you say.
