Allstate and geico always pay us to put aftermarket stuff only on cars. It's a fight if the customer demands oem parts. State Farm is the best company imo. They want the car to be repaired top notch and use oem parts. Allstate and geico are super cheap when it comes to fixing yalls cars. I don't recommend either one1997 viper gts

Did you get your issues fixed yet? I couldn't read through all of the BS on this thread to find out.
ScottMc, come on man. you have no room to dog any shops out..you work for caliber right? you should know this industry by now.. most, if not all of the technicians here in dfw have worked for SK and caliber at some point..
I have had to redo work for Caliber shops in my area and I am sure they have had to fix some SK cars as well..

There aren't many a/m audi parts out there.. if there are, they fit usually isn't good enough to use. It would be totally different if you have a Honda civic. lol
Everyone needs to check into their insurance policy. most carriers want to use lkq or alternative parts.. I am insured with Safeco and made sure to pay a little extra to get the OEM endorsement on my policy. I recommend that everyone check with their carrier to see if they offer it.
This industry is changing everyday.. The carriers want to use the most cost effective way to repair a vehicle.. The repair facility wants to ensure we have as much business as possible and if you want to stay on their DRP program, you have to follow their guidelines. If I could use OEM parts on every car we repair, it would be great. But unfortunately that is not the case now days.
