  • New daily driver.

Well a new, used car. I have been casually looking for a new car. Not seriously looking because I love my firebird, but just keeping an eye out. My number 1 pick would be a 6 speed C4 corvette, but they were priced too high and not really an option. Others were the miata, 350z, and porsche 944.

Got a deal that I couldn't pass up today. 1992 Corvette 6 speed. Has some issues that I can sort out, but I was able to drive it home. Was mildly concerned about the power difference between the LS1 and the LT1, but the corvette is night and day difference over the LT1 Fbodies.

Here are a few teaser pics, will get more once I clean it up.

I am one of the retarded few that really likes the C4. Had three of them and loved them all. Nice car.
Good judgment comes from bad decisions and a lot of that comes from bad judgment.

Count me in that group as well. I also love the 94-98 Mustangs. I've heard all of the horror stories about how rough the C4 rides, but it's a damned sight smoother than my Formula is.

Looks clean and the lack of wear on the drivers seat is amazing.

The lack of being porno red is amazing. But yeah, it's clean as hell considering that it has 211K miles on it. I half wonder if those seats have been redone.

If mine would have been a 6spd and not had serious electrical issues, id still be driving it. That was a fun car.

My sister dated a guy that drove a 96 GS. LT4 is no joke, almost as good as the LS1.

Don't know why the C4's get so much crap, I like them a hell of a lot more than the C3. Besides, I only gave $3400 for it

Never understood why they made so many auto vettes. That was one of my biggest issues with the C4, I didn't really want an auto, got very lucky with this. Electrical doesn't bother me, I can fix pretty much anything.

Because they are usually bought by the over 50 crowd. I dig it. When I was looking for something in 2004 it came down to the 01 Cobra I ended up buying or a 92ish ZR1. I like the C4, the C5 has too many overly rounded edges, like a 90's Grand Am or Grand Prix.

                            Love it.

If anyone remembers the Cicis meets in Arlington in the 90's then you'll know Ivan had the best looking C4 ever.

I will never forgive myself for letting a 92 ZR1 go through manheim for $7000, first time I was ever at the auction. Love those cars.

Thanks. Still have the mustang, but it or the firebird are likely going up for sale soon in order to pay for this one. The mustang cleaned up very nicely.

Thanks. I'm too young to have gone to 90's meets.
