Oh yeah. I got it running good. Fixed all the interior, got the exhaust on, etc.

Im amazed as well its not porno red interior. C4's can be made to look and run killer.

C5's are starting to look ugly to me now for some reason.

Worked on a black C4 vert on Tuesday. I hate those cars. The C5 is 10 times better. Maybe 11.

As long as you like it, that is all that counts.

We will see how much I like it once I start working on it. Then again, I was the only guy at auction that would touch an lt1 firebird with a blown head gasket

Yay, guy that sold it tried to kill me. Fucking brake caliper bolts were loose. Lost one on the way home and I just figured it out.

So, I have made some progress on it. I got it cheap due to a check engine light, bucking under throttle, and service ASR. The TPS wasn't sending a signal to the ECM. Swapped it out and it runs great. Service ASR was coming from the brake pads not having rattle clips, and the calipers were about to fall off.

Clay barred the paint, found some blemishes here and there, but it's 22 years old. Cleaned the interior out as well. Lighting kinda sucks for pics, but here they are. Waiting on new tires for the rear, still need a console lid, new stereo, and weatherstripping.

I really like it. Love the dished factory style wheels.

Thanks. Me too. I bought brand new 275/40/17's for the firebird and I was going to swap them over. Until I took the rear wheels off and found out they are 17x11. So yeah, new 315/35/17's are on the way.

The cool thing about those is how the E-brake is on the door side tucked in the floor. I always thought that was unique.

Yep, took me a second to figure out where the hell it was. I think the porsche 928's are there too. I need to fix mine actually, it's difficult to disengage it.

Doesn't it have run flats anyway, or did those come later?

That was the C5, because it didn't have a spare.

They work different than a normal hand brake so that they can go back down and not hit you when you get out. Press the brake pedal, lift the handle until it hits the ratcheting lock, press the button, push down and then release the button.
