stepped up from 1:25th to 1:1 today. Played with fo-carbon fiber on an old 2.3l valve cover.

I also did my old laptop. there was some chemical pop in the clear but other than that I'm happy.

I doubt I'll laugh! I'll probably look for a way to apply it in 1/12th and 1/24th scale. I've seen it done convincingly with a screen (read: window screen)

well step one, lay down silver, or in in the case of the valve cover pearl white. then go to sears, and grab the perforated tool box liners, the ones that look like beads. lay it over the part and hit it with black. thats it.
