Oncor and the state pay the company to come out and spray white fiberglass insulation on the attic, caulk windows and plumbing fixtures, and put on door sweepers.

You must be an Oncor customer and must have electric heat. I asked about year built and income restrictions and she did not say there were any.

          Thanks Jason!
I called the number, no answer.

I am in the Oncor delivery area and am all electric. Definitely want this done to my house.

They must have changed the regulations. I have gas water heater and furnace, and was able to get it done 4-5 years ago.

Did you see any significant change?

No. The insulation they use is crap. I'm probably going to spray more on top of it. The recycled blue jean stuff seems to work really well.

We will be doing this at the rent house this year (the one MikeC took pictures of). We tried last year, but they require the house to not be under construction at the time. We were remodeling one of the bath rooms and had the dry wall pulled down.

They came out and did my house today. It was five guys, here about an hour and a half. They did a before and after cfm test. before my cfm pull was 8400 and after was 3400ish. they blew in insulation, caulked around all the windows, sealed around plumbing, put weather stripping around all the doors with door sweepers.

Didn't cost me a dime and they didn't try to sell me anything.

I'm very pleased, thanks for the hook up !!
