Mine made the same #s with a h/c/I 302. Good for mid 7s in a foxbody.

I need to get back with Andy and get my car retuned though. I've made some changes and it's effecting the drivability. Vacuum leaks ect..

everyone said to put 4.10 but I have been rethinking it 373.

4.10 is a fun gear if you don't plan on any type of forced induction down the road. 3.73 is a nice all around gearing, it will be boost friendly on lower boost levels, the bottle would like it, etc. If you plan on doing hard launches on sticky tires, the spider gears, axles, and torque boxes won't be happy for long if they're all stock.

Visit JamesB for the torque boxes ($350). Go with 4.10s, you WILL NOT regret it. I ran a 8.19 with slicks, 4.10s, blown shocks, and a massive exhaust leak. No tune, CAI, or anything else.

Put in stock GT or Mach 1 springs, get your boxes welded up, some strange 10-way shocks, 4.10s, and a set of slicks. That should put you in the high 7s.

Any hard driving on stock torque boxes is borrowed time. The sn95 cars are better then the foxbodys but is suggest getting that done ASAP.

well I had a 90 gt I put a Windsor in. after a couple of weeks I ripped the torque boxes out bent my exhaust, chewed up a tire. every time I could touch the throttle without a violent noise and rear end shaking like a leaf on a tree. I sold that car.

amen. Cheaper to build them up now than repairing them when you rip one out.

May have to hit him up, all my 4V GT needs is a good motor tune and nitrous tune to pretty much be finished.
