We went to Denton Friday night, they are sticking to there reputation. It was a little cold Friday night at 6:30 it was in the low 50's. When we pulled into the lanes no cars had been down the track. I walked the starting line and was impressed with what I felt. So we pulled in, the first car down the cold track. Our car goes a 1.21 60', 3.27 330', and 4.99@145, oh with a .001 reaction time. This was our first 4 second pass, we knew the power was there it was just a matter of putting it all down on the right run.
So the next pass we threw some more power at it on the line. This was the end of the day for us. It took off on a little wheelie and went up, up, and away. I waited a little to long to peddle it and it resulted in a crushed oil pan. We were happy either way because all we wanted to do was run the "4" before the year was up.
A few more adjustments to the front and we should have the wheelie problem fixed. Hopefully next time out we can go some .8's
Thanks to Denton again! Just a cold slow Friday night and the track was prepped like they were about to have a big race.
