  • Keyless Entry for 2002 Tahoe

Lost keys to the Tahoe & I have a spare. But she is bitching me out about not having her clicker thing.

Anyone know or have a connection on getting her two new Keyless Entry door clickers

    Seb's high class.
    He'll mow your grass.
    He'll kick your ass.
And while his kidney stones pass,
    He'll piss in a glass!

How many buttons? I have a few factory ones from 2000ish that might work.

      I believe its 3 or 4.

      Lock Button
      Unlock Button
      Panic Button

It would be so nice if we can just reprogram them for her truck!

I got replacements for my '01 suburban on ebay. Cheapest place and they were new cases with used internals and new batteries. I think I paid $30 for a pair. Only problem with your case is you need the code of the original transmitter, then its just a matter of pairing the new transmitters with the vehicle.

So without the original transmitter I have no other options

if its a factory alarm im pretty sure there is a process to re-learn new key fobs that you go through. If i recall it isnt too terribly hard.

                    something along these lines

you need to get in your tahoe
put the key in the ignition
                    hold the unlock button down
with the unlock button held down turn the key to the on position then off then turn the key on and off
                    release the unlock button
The Locks shoul lock then unlock
Press the unlock and lock buttons on the remote at the same time and hold for a second
if you have done it right after 15 seconds the locks should lock then unlock
                    and your remote is programmed
after this turn the key to the on position to exit program mode
