94 gt brake light dash prob

I got a 94 Convertible GT...Needless to say the Brake light on the dash is acting up...sometimes it works sometimes not...and the ebrake is all the way up and does work....OBVIOUSLY..I am asking this question cause it effects my Top going up and down....any clues on what it could be? THANKS

Help me?! Is it just the Parking Brake Switch? Could I install a toggle switch and bypass it? Grrrrrrrr
