switching from auto to 5 spd. not a how to ?

    I agree , and a good valve body tb or not . I run both but I have to say I like the stick on the street much beter . My 4.6 is a stick but I have stick and auto pushrod cars and I think to make an auto realy move you have to have a big stall and gears (or a turbo Doug) and this makes street driving uncomfortable for me . I don't want to drive down the street at 3500 r's . That being said my new car is an auto with 5+ gears so it will not see the street in that form .

      i wish i would have went 5speed i like the auto but it boring! i plan on doing a 5speed swap in the near future!

        Probably better for you since you are scared of the track. Lol

        All seriousness. Much more enjoyable with the 5 speed. Plus overdrive in your case.
