He did the headers and full exhaust at the same time with the intake. He bought the tune after he did that and it woke it up. It showed around 65ish increase in HP to the rear wheels. Showing right under 500 now with the same in torque. This was just a re-mapped chip type tune. If you went to a legit speed shop where they can fine tune the car on the dyno, more HP can be had for sure.

I guess I'm just to big of a pus to run a tune right now.

Other than sound I saw very little gain over a steeda/airraid intake tuned vs just using the stock piece. Tune and cat delete will yield the best cost to hp ratio if you're on a budget, but as said you may sacrifice warranty. I can for sure tell you gvine and five star nrh will give you flack over mods should you need service.

Grapevine wasn't so bad. I took the car in for an oil change with drag radials, rubber on the rear fenders and the numbers from K-dale on the quarter window. The service writer laughed about it and asked me what it ran, then he gave me a complimentary car wash.

Five Star, on the other hand, had a very heavy-handed shop foreman. I would not recommend bringing a modified car to them at all.

Agreed! Grapevine R&R'd my engine when it blew up. The car was stock and under warranty but it did have Nitto DRs on it. Since it was visibly stock and never tuned they didn't hesitate.

My uncle took his blown engine to Five Star in N Richland Hills. They asked him if it was tuned, and when he answered that it was, they said they would not even let it in the shop. Grapevine ended up R&Ring his under warranty, too.

Also agree with this. A stock coyote with sticky tires can run surprisingly hard.

I went to five star for my maintenance. I never had any issues with the mods I had.

I threw a clutch spring in today. You are not lying about the difference!

Mgw shifter will be my next purchase.

MGW or steeda is the shifter of choice for the manuals from what I have seen, glad the spring made a difference for you guys!
