Fox Idle Issue

I know the fox always had idle issues especially when modded. I have a 331 stroker motor in a 93 coupe. The idle is pretty good when the car is standing still. It likes about 800 RPM which is OK. The issue is when the car is rolling. If you push in the clutch, and coast, the idle stays at about 1500 RPM. This makes slow driving sort of rough. You get the "bucking" at about 30 MPH unless you go to a lower gear. Could the VSS sensor on the transmission be bad? The cruise works perfectly, and there are no vaccum leaks.

I had that same problem. I replaced the vss and did help. I then cleaned my aic valve and added the adjuster plate. Now it revs and rpm drop nice and smooth to 850 900 rpm.
