  • Racepak tach signal with TFI

So Racepak calls for a 5-18V, 50% duty cycle, square wave output, it says do NOT connect to the coil negative because of the voltage spikes, does anyone have any idea on where to get the signal? I was thinking of tapping spout, it looks like it provides the correct signal, PIP is close but has a 30% DC on 1 of the waves.

I tapped into spout and the signal worked great just FYI. Racepak said the DC can be between 20% and 50% so I imagine PIP would have also worked just fine.
