going catless H on my gt500

in the DFW area can you get your car tuned have the cats and rear 02 sensors turned off and still pass emissions testing? ... last time i went i had my car tuned and the tuner turned off the cats and 02 sensors but they were in place so i didnt pass the test... will it pass if they are turned off and not on the car?

Like stated above you cannot turn off the cats. You can replace with a catless h pipe or x pipe and then have the rear O2 sensors turned off with a tuner, or with MIL eliminators.

I have had no cats on my car for 5 years with no emissions problems

As long as they don't look under your car to really check and you're not pulling a o2 code then you're good. Been catless with no problems.

gt500 have a much better sound with a H, imo.
