i would'nt have it sandblasted, try walnut shells or soda blasting it because i heard that sandblasting a shell could possibly warp the panels. idk though someone could have just been busting my balls..

Jay Goode in Sherman does a really good job at sandblasting old cars/trucks. He's been doing it long enough that he knows what to do so the sheet metal doesn't get all warped to hell.

His number is (903)819-4323 and tell him Aaron Fleming referred you.

He does all of mine and my dad's sand blasting, and a big majority of the Sherman/Denison area hot rodders use him.

You can rent the machine for 400 plus material. Normaly they charge around 700-1000 to strip a car. Or thats what we used to pay a few years ago

Media blasting is the only way to go imo. Most people I know don't get to prepping it once sand blasted and the cancer starts before you get it to your shop.

Have you ever done it? It fucking sucks. Well worth paying someone to do it.

They do all our blasting for my shop They did a 68 Bronco a few years back for us. They charge by the hour I think the bronco was around $1k Just had them do a cuda shell it was $900.00 I don't have the roof or outer quarters done except the lower part of the quarters to not risk warping (on the cuda).

Some restoration shops strip the whole car by hand. Now that sucks
