I have a 1993 5.0 coupe I just put a new motor in with some Ported heads and a e-cam. I was wondering what to set the timing at. I know that a factory cam requires it to be set at 10 degreese. But I'm not sure about with the e-cam

I run an e cam and mine is set at base 10 degrees with 36 degrees of total timing.
    1993 Vibrant Red Cobra #1741.

If you want more inches - Stroke it!!!

Base timing with pill out I was always able to run 14-16 degrees without detonation. Every combination is different though, and air temperature and humidity conditions will play a factor as well. You will have to mess with different timing degrees and see where your motor runs the best.
