I've developed a small leak which I'm thinking is the rear main seal or the oil pan gasket.Any suggestions on a reasonable shop to go to for the repairs? I'm figuring I may as well both of them since they have access to both when they drop the transmission. This is on a 2001 f150 2wd v6 if that matters. Thanks in advance!

Usually there is not enough room to remove the pan while the motor is mounted in the
vehicle. Mostly because the pickup tube requires a couple inches of oilpan drop, then
the k-member is there to prevent the drop.
For many vehicles, you could lift up the motor a couple inches with a crane(if there is
room), and gain just enough room to drop the oilpan.
Sometimes the travel is limited by the transmission and the tunnel.
Lifting the motor can take some doing too. If you lift the motor, be aware of all possible
contact points, before you break something.
