  • Pro form electric water pumps

    Anyone running these water pumps.. And feedback on them. Will be street strip car. That gets driven every other weekend. Will a 302 water pump bolt up to a 351

      They claim to have ford racing backing. So I'd assume it's good.

      They are scary cheap though versus other brands.

            As long as you have towning on your insurance. I drive mine too much, but a day here and there isn't going to hurt.

              Have one on race car works great just make sure to use teflon tape and not liquid or it leaks like a bitch.

                I have a Meziere Elec Waterpump on my LS1 car that I drove 70 miles one to race & back in in traffic with the AC blowing COLD!

                      A mechanical pump will drag alot at high rpm, and flow is inconsistent.

                      While with an electrical the flow is constant and the tiny drag it puts on the alternator. I think most are around 10-20 amps, which would be equal to having your blower motor on high, or a good size amp for subwoofers.

                        I went from running 7.50s to running 7.20 with just adding a Elec Waterpump & U/D Pullys on my LS1

                          got one on my malibu drive it everywhere i mean everywhere to the track around town never over heats nothing, last one lasted 3 years...My current one replaced a junky ass csr
