2013 Headlights / Tails in a 2012?

I have a 2012 GT. I have fallen in love with the new styling of the 2013 mustangs. I was wondering if anybody has either has done or knows this can be done. I want to replace my headlamps and taillights with the new 2013s. Looks like it can be done as they seem to be structurally similar. Anybody know / have ideas? Currently right now I have the basic headlamps that come with the 2012 GTs (Non Projector / HID)

I know the 2013 tail lights leave a significant gap around the edges when installed on the 2012. Not sure about the headlights but I'm sure there will be similar issues.
