Puddle of water under car...

There is a little drain looking hole in the firewall that has been dripping water for the past 4 hours, which resulted in quite a large puddle of water under my car... thoughts?

Passenger side firewall? Heater core. Although once my little bypass hose had a hole in it and it leaked just like a heater core would.

Run your cars nose in it and then hit it with a rolled up newspaper.
water or coolant? Could be a semi clogged hvac drain hose. The hvac box fills with condensation and drips slowly when parked until empty.

Is it not condensation from the AC system?
(I'm not sure where it drains on a Mustang because mine was never hooked up.)

Yeah probably heater core, you should be able to smell the antifreeze and usually you would get some fogging on the passenger side of the windshield.
Have you changed the heater core hoses anytime recently?
